What do you think about when you get dressed in the morning?

I think about the mood I’m in or I want to be in. My mother taught me that you never dress how you feel. If you’re sick, depressed, angry, lazy, whatever, never dress that way. You never know what opportunity or experience awaits you. So, do I dress up everyday? No, but I definitely think about the what ifs.

What item of clothing or accessory makes you feel most like yourself and why?

I have to say anything leather. A leather jacket, a leather bag, a leather bracelet. I feel like it elevates any style. There’s been times I’ve worn just a basic shirt and some jeans and threw on my leather jacket and all of sudden I felt confident, I felt strong, and stylish.

What is your dream job?

My dream job would be establishing myself as a celebrity/world renown photographer/creative director. Soon to come!

What is something most people don’t know about you?

That I am an absolute fool! I love to laugh, I love making people laugh. Even if that means, I’ve just fully embarrassed myself. There’s nothing like laughter. It’s the best medicine for any illness and it’s how I’ve gotten through a lot of bad situations.

Do you have a mantra you live by? If so, what is it?

Live to Love and Love to Live.

If you had to wear one outfit for a week straight, what would it be and why?

Oh that’s easy! All black – black shirt/tee, black skinny jeans, black chelsea boots all day, err day. It use to be my only look for a minute. Long story, let’s just say thank God for new experiences.

Is there any other information we should know? (social media links, blog, etc.)

Sure. Well, like I just mentioned – new experiences. Earlier this year I got the idea to redo my wardrobe, because all I wore was black. I felt like I was bored and needed change. So I got the idea to throw out/donate my clothes and start over. Hence, my blog www.subandstyle.com. I talk about wardrobe building and men’s clothing specifically through subscription services and men’s lifestyle.
