Meet Sophia Smith, age 16 from I Want To Be Mind Boggling Blog’s Age: 2 Months
Where are you from? Atlanta
Niche: Fashion Journal
Why people should read my blog: My blog is a taste of something a little different, yes it is a fashion blog, but it’s also very personal. It is expressing my personal journey with the world of fashion, which I absolutely love. It will demonstrate both my struggles and my success, and every experience that I have to get me just one step closer to my dream of becoming a fashion designer.
The most interesting part of this blog is that you never know what Is going to happen next, and neither do I. I just have to keep living my life and hope that something worth documenting comes into my path. This can be a struggle some times because although I would love to be posting daily, It is very hard for me to be able to basically pull a rabbit out of a hat and have a great story, or a project that I have whipped up, and because I am in high school a very large portion is taken up and away from things that I would love to be doing. Like designing, sewing, or painting. That is one of my greatest frustrations.
The funny thing about this blog is that I started It to have somewhere to put everything that I was thinking. After spending my summer at RISD my head was full of rushing thoughts and creative ideas and I found my self beginning to well, talk to myself a bit. I know that sounds a bit crazy, and trust me there is nothing wrong with being crazy, but I thought that starting a blog would be a little more organized way of keeping up with my thoughts, and also keeping my self of track.
A blog is a very interesting concept, you open a page on the internet, and pour all of your thoughts into it, and then just let them go, for all of the world to see. You don’t know who is seeing them, or if anyone is, but just letting your thoughts or your work, or even an experience just fly out into the world Is a remarkably good feeling. “I Want To Be Mind Boggling” Is a visual of what is going on in my head (except more organized). It has become a part of my daily life, and I love every part of the blogging community, everyone is so nice and very encouraging.
My blog Is a little taste of something different, and maybe even something that you can relate to.
